Push nightlight?

Hi all - I'd really appreciate your help on this one...

DD(aged 2) is having trouble sleeping through the night at the moment (ever since bonfire night - bloody fireworks!) and I've made the silly mistake of allowing her to sleep in my bed, just so we do get some sleep. However I'm trying to get her out of it now and encourage her to stay in her cot. As part of this I've tried a couple of push on nightlights in her bed - 2 moon-shaped ones from B&Q which both failed before she even went to bed, and a generic round one which was working well but the batteries had run out by the time I went to bed last night!

We like the idea of a push on light because it gives her control and she's learning that she needn't be scared of the dark because she can always put the light on, but unless I take out shares in Duracell or something I could really do with one that will last a lot longer!

Any thoughts?

I bought a disney princess one off amazon that is recharable and last ages. The actual night light is a projector light up onto the ceiling so that its not too bright. If you take it out of its holder base it is instantly a torch. Think it was around £20 but is really good as you can change images etc. Think you can also get Peppa Pig and other popular characters

My DCs each a have a mini camping light like this which is great -the batteries seem to have lasted ages and it's very robust.

My DS's bedside light is from IKEA, it's a blue little lamp with clouds on the shade, it has a push on/off switch which is covered in rubber to make it child proof. It plugs into the wall, he can work it himself and often does.
I switch that off when I tuck him in but he can put it back on if he likes.
I do use a lindam nightlight though this one which glows softly and doesn't keep him awake.
Both these options plug in though

I have a push light from ikea. We call it a 'ghost' but I'm not sure of its proper name! It cost about £7 and is rechargable so you have the option of running it from the mains or having it 'free standing'.

From a full charge it lasts for hours and hours (at least 8, maybe more) and is brilliant as we can take it away with us on holidays so my DD always has the same green 'glow' to fall asleep to (they also do a red, blue and purple one!)

Ooh had a google and the prices have gone up a bit but this is the kind of thing we use
