Pillows - probably a daft question

14 month old ds curently sleeps in his grobag without a pillow as he rolls about so much in his cot. But he has been suffering recently from a terrible cold so i thought would try a pillow to see if rising his head helps snottiness. Question is can i use a regular pillow or do i have to get mini special baby pillow (if such a thing even exists!) See told you it was a bit daft

I'd just raise the end of the cot a bit.

You would probably be better off raising the top of the matress by putting a folded blanket underneath.

oh raising the end of the cot - hadn't thought of that! Thanks!

if you do get a pillow mothercare do cot pillows... although they're just as squidgy as a regular one!

I just used a normal adult flattish pillow that fitted in the cot with no space between it and the cot bars. It also gave me somewhere to put the tissue with karvol on it to help clear her nose as well.

Loochyloo - My dd has had a baby pillow from Ikea since she was 11mths old. She loves it and I sometimes find her hugging it in the morning.

I think it costs about £4!! And the duvet is £9!

Thanks everyone. I tried raising one end of the matress but he just slid down the other end (er maybe raising it too high!)
Am generally having trouble with the whole sleep covering thing as he seems to hate his sleeping bag and wakes up tangled up in it (er maybe too big!) Am obv the type who does everything alittle "too much" (like when your mum bought you a school coat "to grow into", swore I would NEVER do that and looks like i'm doing it already ). Mind you any excuse to go to Ikea...
