10.5 month old screaming in night

DD is 10.5 months old and has never slept throughout the night (apart from one night). Normally she would go down at 7pm and get up 1-2 times for a drink ( she is BF) which I didn't really mind, and she would co-sleep with us from around 3am after the second feed and get up at 7am. She naps about 1.5 hours in the day but it doesn't seem to make any difference at night if she doesn't have the nap.
The past few weeks she has been getting up more and more often at night and the last week I have been sleeping on the couch with her sleeping on me just so DH can get some sleep. She is screaming, rolling and kicking her legs in her sleep (her eyes are closed so I assume she's sleeping) and wants to BF all night.
It seems to have coincided with her getting up on her feet and she is also starting to talk so I'm kind of assuming there is a link and maybe her legs are sore from climbing?
Has anyone else had a similar experience and what did you do? How long can I expect this to last?

Hiya,

My LO has been doing this since 8Months, she is also 10 months now, I did some research and apparently the screaming is night terrors, I am presuming that she is sleeping whilst screaming.

we have had to take to properly waking her up when she has a terror, she goes back to sleep pretty much straigh away. they dont wake properly when you pick them up, you have to actually make sure she is awake so that it stops the terror. We wake her, then put her back down and put her music box on which soothes her back to sleep

If your concerned about her legs i would go see your midwife/heath visitors just to be sure.

I have been told it does stop eventually.
