Help! 14 month sleep regression

My DD is 14 mths old and her sleep has gone horribly wrong. She has generally been a good sleeper and used to sleep from 7pm til 5ish, wake for a bottle and then sleep til 7am. The last 2 weeks she's been waking randomly through the night and finding it hard to self settle. Last night she woke at 3.45am, had a bottle and then could not fall asleep. I tried everything, including putting her in bed with me (which sometinmes works) to no avail. I have been giving a bottle at night as she seems hungry and she's not eating well - refusing spoonfeeding and picking at finger foods. Has gone from great diet, eating pretty much what we eat, to only eating fishfingers, cereal and yogurt. I don't mind her waking at night and needing a bottle if she will go back to sleep straight away - but being up with her for hours is exhausting me. She has one daytime nap 11.30 for anything between an hour and a half to two and a half hours. She like her cot and will go down happily for naps and in the evening. Any ideas what may be wrong and what I can do? Am at work now and feel like a zonmbie!

Sounds like she is teething to me. Both of my DCs have behaved in a similar way particularly when getting their molars. I find that Nurofen is much better than calpol for teething pain at night. The good thing is that it lasts for a few days/weeks at a time but there is an end and they will sleep properly again once they are not in discomfort from teeth poking through! I know it seems neverending at the time though, DS2 (17 months) is currently doing the same!

Thanks Lozza. Gave her calpol before bed tonight but will get some nurofen if she's no better tomorrow. Fingers crossed we get some sleep tonight!
