But DH is unsupportive and wants me to give DD a cuddle.

What to do to satisfy him that DD isnt going to suffer?

I find it difficult doing this at night so whilst I am feeling strong I feel I should keep at it.

Cheers

Argh - its gonna be hard with an unsupportive DH.

We can all post messages for him to read and say she'll be fine?

OR... send him to the pub

Well they say the proof is in the eating. I didnt have to go in the second time. She is asleep now and I can tell hime this.

For the first time she has laid down herself and gone to sleep.

I was going in and out initially but that didnt work. Once I decided to leave her for 5 mins she got into a right strop. After a further 6 mins she had gone to sleep.

Now I just have to try the technique if needed in the night.

Normally she will just have her dummy and go back to sleep. Unless its 5am and then Im not sure if she is hungry or needs a nappy change.
