My ds starting to roll over about 4 weeks ago. He will now only sleep on his tummy. He can roll and lift his head fine. If i try to turn him onto his back he wakes then turns onto his tummy. Is this ok? Please put my mind at rest.

absolutely totally fine - the official advice is not to put them down their fronts even when they can roll but definitely not to worry if they flip of their own accord. (having said that, we've been putting DD down on her tummy since 6 months ...)

once they are 6 months they can find their own sleeping postion so I would leave him to sleep how he wishes.

DS (6.5 months) started sleeping on his side at 3 months and his tummy as soon as he could roll over. He can now roll both ways and really doesn't like being on his back in bed. I always put him down on his back, but he'll often roll straight over to his tummy. He's started sleeping much better since he goes on his tummy...

I think it's fine if they're happy. He'll soon let you know if he's not!

Mine did the same. I spent months waking up several times a night turning him back over, but he was clever enough to turn staright back on his tummy as soon as I hit my bed. Not much you can do. They obviously feel more comfy like that.

My 9.5 m.o. has slept on his tummy since around 7 months when he ets himself there.

The FSID say not to worry if they are able to flip themselves over, and not to keep checking on them / turning them back. They advise putting them down on their backs, but I didn't bother from 7 months onwards as DS would always flip straight over.

Enjoy your sleep! :)
