Which brands would you suggest?

Or, as long as it's waterproof, do brands really differ that much?

Going skiiing in 2 weeks and haven't shopped yet!

Many, many thanks for any responses.

i always wear goggles, never glasses (but i have lenses that work in both sun and shade. plus i always wear a helmet, and glasses look a bit weird sometimes.
as to the helmet, it is a matter of choice (and there are often long arguments about this) but if you wear a helmet on a bicycle then seriously consider for skiing -you are going quite fast, likely to fall over (or be collided with) and the ground is frozen very hard. my sister spent 3 days with amnesia from a simple fall, and no major injury (so it wasn't a big crash or anything). they can fix a broken ankle, not a broken brain.
public service announcement over

I wear goggles too as they're much comfier with my helmet.

I agree with greygir and applaud her public service announcement!

I keep sunglasses in my camelbak for when we stop for lunch etc.
