Just had an email from Muddy Puddles, they have some really good sale prices on ski stuff, I got some goggles and gloves.

Bumping for you.

Thanks Bluesky. We ordered some merino base layers for DS1 (hopefully wont cause major eczema outbreak a la man-made fibre base layer last year. We also got bargainous snow boots for DS1 & 2 and fleece balaclavas.

If anyone is in the market for rainy day gear I can heartily recommend muddy puddles but buy actual size as they are very generously cut.

Thanks for that Bluesky

Hi, I found a website www.ski-stuff.co.uk which hire out ski jackets, salopettes and snow boots for kids and adults. Saved us a forturne as my kids age 15, 13 and 9. They also sell extras at very reasonable prices. Made things just a bit easire.

bluesky · 19/01/2009 15:14

Brilliant, thanks Dud. I need some salopettes.

can i just add - i've just been buying salopettes, jackets etc on ebay, charity shops and tk maxx. my dd's all in one cost 10, my ds's jacket 29 new, his salopettes 10. most children have only worn their gear for a week or two at the most so it's often in really good condition. go charity shopping in posh areas and you'll find lots of ski stuff.
