Warren Smith academy or similar ski courses

Hi I have been looking at the Warren Smith ski academy 5 day courses and wondered if anyone had any experience of them? I am an intermediate skier who hasn't progressed for years and most likely have picked up some bad habits! I have no interest in off piste skiing, I just want to improve my technique. I would most likely go alone which I am happy to do as long as I can have a single room.

They work out pretty expensive but am willing to pay if they will deliver the results. Any advice or alternative courses appreciated.

I've been debating doing this one for a few years now skigoddess.co.uk/. Expensive but it gets great reviews. I'm a decent skier if the conditions are just right, but it's limiting not wanting to go out when there is too much/too little snow or conditions aren't good.

I’d highly recommend Ski Goddess for exactly this type of thing. Most women are solo travellers so you wouldn’t be unusual at all. I’ve never done warren smith. Snoworks comes up quite a bit ( maybe a slightly younger vibe?)

I can definitely recommend Ski Goddess courses. I’ve done 2 ☺️. Enjoy!

Thank you all for the recommendation, it sounds brilliant but just typical it's Chatel! I've been skiing there every year for the last 10 years due to a friend having a second home there so was looking forward to trying somewhere else! It's a great resort though and not a deal breaker.

Hi there, I did a Warren Smith one with a friend this January and made huge progress after a nine year break due to children and pandemic. I am a fairly average skier and was put in the bottom group (you all ski down a slope at the beginning of the first day and get put into groups - a bit nerve wracking but it was fine) but I didn’t mind this and my instructor was lovely. I did 4max and being in a group of four meant I got a lot of input and skiing the full day (10-3pm) meant lots of practice time. I am probably going to go back next year but on my own which will be a bit less fun in the evenings but worth it for the improvements which will carry over into our family ski hol in March. They have a great base at Mountain Air (where you hire your kit) by the main Medran lift and that’s where you look at video analysis after skiing is finished for the day. It also has a bar/cafe. Verbier is pricey that’s a downside but good food and nice places to go in the evening. A few cheap (er) and cheerful hotels. If you have any other questions message me!

Snow Camps Europe are in Kaprun and run some good sounding courses. I’ve been tempted but not taken the plunge (yet!)
