Nervous skier resort

We're looking at going skiing again next year. We normally go to Bulgaria and I'm happy to go again but thought I'd ask here. I'm looking for the following:

Long weekend eg 4 days skiing
Lovely wide green/blues for me
Blues/reds for the rest of the family!
Smaller resorts as we have only had 3 holidays so not experienced
Good ski school for me. I'm nervous and almost get worse as the week progresses!

@rookiemere is say so for sure, however that is the busiest time. We did Sunday to Thursday. Such an easy 2 hour drive from Oslo airport. All accommodation is so close to the lifts.

Go to Pila in Italy. Lovely quiet wide slopes. I'm nervous like you but enjoyed it a few weeks ago. It's two hours from Milan.

We've booked Pila! Great recommendation thanks

Levi in Finland! But of an arse to get to. But the snow is amazing, the runs are brilliant and very forgiving, the resort is walkable and well organised. And you might see the northern light. Lapland is magical but Levi is really brilliant for beginners and intermediates.

Pila is a lovely resort. My son is doing a season there at the moment. Possibly next year too..

Corvara in the Dolomites is a blue paradise (Italian blue, so on the gentler side). Plenty of terrain to get your teeth stuck into.

Whether you can make transfers/hotels work for a long weekend is another matter. But worth investigating.
