Please save me from any more internet research! Feel I've spent a year of my life trying to find the perfect holl!

Looking for a beginner friendly ski in and out resort for 2 families somewhere lovely and traditional with great kids ski school (4 beginner kids aged 10-14) and other snow activities to do.

Would like hotel with spa 4* plus and must be short transfer from airport (under one hour) with direct flights from Manchester/ Leeds/ Bristol

Too much to ask??!! Would love Norway or Finland but can't find direct flights. Maybe Innsbruck?? Please help!

Only one of the adults can ski? Okay, in that case you absolutely DON'T need ski-in, ski-out. I thought it was just the DC who couldn't ski and was envisaging four adults who can. Okay, well maybe look at Avoriaz up the road then. There are hotels there and a spa and of course there's ski school too for everyone.

Agree Portes du Soleil ski area fab for everyone. The hamlet at the bottom of Ardent hasn’t got much there, so would also second heading to one of the proper villages in PDS.

morzine
chatel
les gets
avoriaz

all easily reached from Geneva airport within 1 hour 30mins.

have been following their snow conditions as DS heading to Morzine next week. Seems to be plenty and has been snowing recently too.

Morzine Source Magazine post live pics on fb most days. It’s looking good at the mo.

We usually stay in catered chalets which are quite luxurious. Not what I imagined before I actually tried it for the first time.

Avoriaz or any of the club meds!

I’d do Les gets or Morzine if the adults are also beginners. I think Avoriaz is much busier and aside of Proclou some of the blues can be busy and get chopped up. The run to Ardent sucks as it’s low and shady most of the time.
I was there a month ago just after a big snowfall (despite what you may have read up thread!)
