We're looking for a hotel or apartment which is in a high resort (not going until Easter) and has a good mix of runs along with access to a pool and treadmill.
We have a 14yo & 11yo and aren't quite ready to put them in an entirely separate room yet (not sure I trust DC2 to get off devices in the evening or DC1 to actually get up and get ready for skiing in the morning) so some sort of suite would be good.
We've been to the perfect place in Val d'Isere for the past couple of years and are tempted to go back as it works well but would like a change of resort.

And good restaurants too as we will eat out in the evenings. One of the downsides to Val d'Isere is we feel we have "done" the restaurants (yes, I can feel my diamond shoes pinching as I write that!)

I would say Val Thorens is the most likely for a comparable experience although Val d'Isere is a more upscale place generally. https://www.le-hameau-du-kashmir.com/ is a good place to stay. https://www.scottdunn.com/france/places-to-visit/val-thorens has some suggestions of more upscale hotels if that isn't quite enough.

You can also ski over to Courchevel for lunch. I might have suggested it for the restaurants but while the higher slopes/Saulire etc are still good at easter those lower down suffer a bit from aspect, so it's not ideal at that time of year.

We're going back to Les Arcs at Easter, which has brilliant spring skiing, including a large snowpark.

We're staying in the Chantel area of 1800. Edenarc is in the samd area and would meet your accommodation brief.

There are some restaurants in that complex, nice ones by all accounts. We didn't eat out much in 1800 in the evenings last year, but there are knowledgeable folk on Snowheads who will be able to better advise.

Can I ask where you have been staying in val? We are looking for somewhere good!

@herewegoroundtheblueberrybush we've stayed at Hotel Tsantelena. We've had the family suite of which there are only one or two. Bedroom with a king sized bed, another room with bunks and a desk, a large sitting area with a little office area off it (with a fridge), bathroom and then storage for clothes.

The hotel is a short walk from the slopes. Literally 5 mins to the snow (even in boots!) and about 10
mins to a vast number of lifts which, if you pick your route & use a bit of determination, you can ski too (or drag a child on skis to). Even so, whilst we kept our boots in the hotel boot room, we left our skis at the inter sport hire shop.
