How did you find it @Icedblondelatte?

We enjoyed it mainly because of how convenient it was. With kids it was super easy. Not sure I'd bother with it if I didn't kids though as I wouldn't see the same benefits. Having everything in the ski locker when you arrive and the hire shop on site was really convenient as was having the lessons departing from the hotel. Kids could be dropped off at 8.30 and then didn't need picking up until 5pm so you could ski all day. As my husband and I were both having morning and afternoon lessons this worked well for us. You could chose to pick up the kids and eat lunch with them but after the first day my children wanted to stay with their new kid's club friends so we got to have an adult lunch together most of the week which was a novelty! There was a huge choice of food. Most of it was ok buffet standard. Wasn't amazing but I also didn't try a lot on the food as I'm a fairly boring eater. Great ice cream choice though. They had snacks available in the bar before lunch and afternoons too. There was a nicer restaurant but we didn't go to it.

Our room was on the same floor as the kid's club and boot room which again was very convenient. I have seen some reviews where people said it took them a while to get around the hotel but for us it was a minute to the restaurant/bar/reception/kids clubs/boot room etc. rooms were hot at night though and I don't think there was way to control the towel heater in the bathroom which was a bit annoying when we wanted to dry stuff. It did come on but randomly. Beds were also hard. Didn't bother my children but I found them quite uncomfortable.

We were very lucky with the weather though as before we went there wasn't much snow. It snowed the day before we arrived and then on day 2 heavily so whilst that wasn't the best skiing day it meant the rest of the week was great conditions. Location wise the hotel is right by a few green slopes so perfect for proper beginners. It was great for our children as this was their first time skiing so they could head straight onto the slopes. The kid's club staff helped them get ready and took them to/from lessons and kept all their ski gear every night. I think my youngest son would have been much fussier if it had been us getting him ready but he had to just get on with it without us there so he did!

The chair lift up to the top that takes you over to Flaine etc apparently closes in bad/windy weather though which happened for an hour or two one day we were there. Not sure how often that happens but might be something to look into if you're considering the resort.

Transfer to the resort was disorganised and we waited way more than 30 mins at the airport (Geneva) before departing with very little communication about what was actually going on or when we would be leaving. It was also more than 70 mins, not by a huge amount but maybe nearer 90. On the way back it was much smoother with a taxi rather than coach as there was 2 other people on the same flight as us (not UK based).

We had very little interaction with the resort staff but that suited us fine.

I can't comment on the pool as we didn't use it or any other of the facilities. We also didn't watch any of the entertainment.

We will definitely book another club med ski holiday whilst the children are young as it just removed all the hassle. Will probably try a different resort though.

Sorry that wasn't a very well structured response but just wrote it as things came into my head!

Adult ski lesson groups should have been tested more and movement made after the first morning. The problem was though that because they were included people just came and went as they pleased with people randomly deciding they wanted lessons in the middle of the week when most of the group were now at a certain level etc.. guess there's not much they can do about that though.

Oh one thing that did annoy me was that the coffee was for machines and was terrible! They also didn't have milk by the tea so you had to go and find the milk for the cereal if you have milk in it. I'm not even sure if there was normal milk available in the evenings. There wasn't even any in the rooms. Also no lemon near the pancakes!

If there's any specific questions please ask!
