Flattering women's helmets

I know, no-one is going anywhere right now. But I'm just looking back (longingly) at our photos from February and I have decided that my helmet looks bloody ridiculous. I've got a small head so I just bought a pink version of the one I bought for the kids. A rounded Wedze one.

So for our next trip I'd like one that looks a bit less crap. Any recommendations?

Also, I was looking at the ones that have attached goggles whilst we were out there as mine kept coming off my helmet. Again, thoughts and recommendations welcomed. Thank you.

Hi. I'm really happy with my Hardnutz one, not sure if this is the kind of thing you would want for your little head! They have quite a few reduced at Surfanic at the moment: www.surfanic.co.uk/hardnutz/

I think the ones with a small peak at the front look best.

Salomon helmets were the most flattering for me.

Hi I would think about getting it in the resort once you are out there. I have a small head and have a child’s helmet - much to the amusement of my kids! I found the people in the resort had a lot more knowledge than if I had bought it myself and ultimately it is the perfect fit. I would still not call it flattering but have yet to see any flattering ski helmets but it is discrete and comfy.

Thanks all.

My only concern with buying it at the resort is the price as you'll pay so much more. That said, I bought my gloves in resort this year as DS managed to get a hole in his and the ones I'd bought for myself before going were slightly too small (can get them on okay, but didn't feel like I had a decent range of movement), so I gave mine to him and bought myself a new pair. DH nearly had a fit when they were £50, but they are amazing.

@Graffitiqueen DH has a peak on his, and I'm inclined to agree.

I'll have a look at links and brands, thank you.

Go somewhere where you can try them on with your goggles. Helmets often look bad as they don't fit with your goggles and you get a gap.

I wear Bern helmets (also wear a kids helmet due to such a small head!) and really like them.

Honestly? I'd get whatever helmet fits you the best. It should fit you so well that you don't even notice that you're wearing it.

I wear a Smith helmet but as I have an absolutely enormous head, it's unlikely to be a good fit.

I have a pink Decathlon helmet which looks hideous on me- small head and round face. This year I got a dark blue one, also Decathlon, with built in visor. Much, much better. I think I must have an odd shaped head as goggles and sunglasses hurt my ears and so the tinted visor is amazing.

My Decathlon helmet has a build in visor. It's v convenient
