Gloves

I'm looking for some brand recommendations for gloves...for dc and me (female).
We went skiing last year for first time and borrowed most of the gear. Bought decathlon gloves for kids which weren't great, quite stiff and dd in particular kept getting cold and wet hands. This year want new gloves that are good but don't cost the earth.
I borrowed a friends O'Neill gloves, as part of a set but likewise want to get my own this year.
Any suggestions most welcome!

Likewise re goggles actually!
Thanks

Make sure you get water proof gloves but also get silk glove liners. They really make a huge difference! Also means if you can't adjust a binding with gloves on you usually can without taking off the liners and hands get less cold. Enjoy your trip!

We got some cracking Reusch and Level ones on TK Maxx online recently.

I haven't worn gloves since an awful day in -20 degrees in Vermont. I cried on the gondola because my hands were so cold and some lovely boy gave me his spare hand warmers (probably to stop the strange crying woman from crying)

I've worn mittens ever since. So much warmer than gloves because all your fingers get to warm each other up.

My goggles are Oakley ones with interchangeable lenses. I think they are airbrakes. Comes with two lenses for different light conditions. Really like them. And they fit my giant head.
