I've always skied France, we would need a fair expanse of blues and reds but beyond that I'm not too picky, I just thought someone on here could save me an hour or two on the internet doing the research myself Smile

Saalbach-Hinterglemm - enormous fabulous ski area, mostly blues and reds with lots of little jumpy bits and mini skier-cross courses for kids and lovely ski huts and apres ski for the grownups, and brilliant tobogganing for everyone!

It’s very low there. We are heading to St Christoph

Another vote for Saalbach Hinterglemm.

Anywhere in the Salzberg Skiwelt area

Mayrhofen

Serfaus

We love Saalbach Hinterglemm (though, fair warning, some of the blues feel pretty firmly in red territory to me). It’s massive as it’s connected to Leogang and will be connected to Zell am see as well for next year.

Oh and if snow is bad at Saalbach you can always head up to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.

Serfaus! Love it. Go there every year (4 seasons and counting). It is totally set up for kids and is mainly blue and red runs.

I second Saalbach - we were there this year and going again next year. this is the first time we are ever returning to a resort. We did a day in Obergurgl as well and it is lovely, but you would cover it within a few days.

I like Mayrhofen too, if going here and are hiring boots/skis use the shop at the top of the gondola and never have to bring your gear down off the mountain. Pure bliss!!
