Anyone who is on or has recently been for ski ing with kids and can recommend a resort?
Looking for kids to learn to ski (-ages 4,5 and 7). Half board/self catering would work well as we have some dietary restrictions.
Small, wide, baby slopes would be great so I can learn too!

Arinsal or Grandvalira in Andorra have good English speaking schools and is usually a lot cheaper than France for eating out etc

Champoluc in Italy with Ski2 - lovely slopes and brilliantly geared up for families. Ski school is around £250 a week per child for 6 days of 10am-3pm lessons (they have an hour in the middle for lunch).

Going on our second trip at Easter and expect we will go back again next year.

Try Puy St Vincent with Snowbizz.

Have you been at Easter before? What was the snow conditions like? We have had this resort mentioned to us a few times but some have said it’s hit or miss with snow at Easter, we’re in Wales and Easter doesn’t start until April 13th!

Club Med are really good with dietary requirements and have fab child care with ski lessons and activities for the kids.

On to second Arinsal in Andorra. Really great for learners and very safe for kids.
A couple of things to mention is a long transfer (4hrs) and also for all resorts please do check resorts snow forecast as last year a number of resorts shut a couple of weeks early due to poor snow and the last month has been very warm in most areas. If you are planning for Easter you are better at looking at high resorts e.g. Les arcs in France, not as good for learners but more chance of snow as above 2000 are more year round.

Seconding an earlier poster with snowbizz both my kids learned to ski with them.

You can go self catering or half board, it's also apartments (ski in ski out) so you can relax after the kids are in bed as you don't need to worry about waking them.

The team are really lovely and has integrated creche / kids club / ski school and there is a little kids club in the evening 5 - 7 so you can enjoy a little apres ski Grin

We loved it when our kids were smaller. Sadly they are too old now although dd(13) asks every year to go back.

I agree. Go with snowbizz. Perfect for this situation.
