Fat bottomed skiing (any tips?)

I really want to go for the first time in years with eldest DD this winter, but even if I do get fitter and lose some weight before March I’m still going be in size 22 ski trousers. I’m a reasonable skier but can someone put me at ease and tell me that the chair lift won’t collapse under my weight? Confused (Do they have maximum weights for skis?)

I'm pretty sure you'll be fine!!

I've skied with massive rugby player mates and it's never been an issue.

Enjoy!

Phew. I decided today if they sold ski trousers in size 22 I couldn’t be the only person out there who wasn’t a ski twiglet. On a plus note I’ll have lots of padding Grin

Of course you won’t be. Every year I go on a ski trip with 14 women, everyone (except 3 outliers) has a mahoosive arse! Grin Some of them ski like freakin’ demons. Go for it.

Ski lifts are built to cope.
Have you ever seen American asses?!
