Any recommendations? I have sports direct and decathlon plus Go Outdoors-which I can visit but don't want to traipse to all of them. One child wears glasses and last years goggles were no good despite trying before, the other child simply fancies a new pair if her brothers getting some brat

My husband wears inserts inside his goggles. They are like lens in a springy insert. It means he can see and not wear his glasses. They really weren't very expensive, possibly cheaper than new kids goggles.

Aldi kids googles are great value at £7.99, although I haven't tried them with glasses underneath.

They looked and felt much more expensive.

I couldn't make Aldi googles work over glasses but Decathlon ones were ok.
(Rather than dragging kids round all shops on this sort of errand I sometimes nip out alone, buy all possible variants, bring home for mass try-on, then return all the wrong ones. Hassly but not as bad as taking whiny dc / dh with me.)

Thanks for that, decathlon not far so I'll head there, wasn't sure if they were cheap crap as the Aldi ones turned out to be

@user1494670108 that's a shame 😔 Take them back for a refund as ours are brilliant and really sturdy. The little one isn't known for being gentle on her kit 😂

Suesue we left them there as he had also scratched the lenses but the problem was the fit over his glasses.
We did try them at home and they seemed fine

You need over the glasses goggles - they have cut outs in the foam where the legs of the glasses fit. If you look in like search for OTG goggles. My youngest DC had used OTG goggles for years and we’ve never had a problem with them fitting over his glasses - though this year we moved him to contact lenses which def solved the problem.

Arrggh if you look ‘on line’

My ds has got new salomon goggles and I noticed they can go over glasses.

Thank you so much Celtiethree, I didn't even know OTG goggles existed - obvious if you think about it!
He's a little Young for contact lenses and also under hospital for lazy eye so optician doesn't want to try them yet but will be great when/ if he can

I've checked - our Decathlon ones are specifically labelled OTG
