Christmas skiing Canada or North America with DC

Both my 11 year old and DP are advanced skiers I can do reds in the alps but I am not advanced. We also have a year old baby.

We fancy trying Canada or America thus Christmas. Which resort is best for families? Done courshavel, lech and Val. Fancy something new.

Oh and somewhere with great child care. Ideas most appreciated

Realise this is late but would anyone have any recommendations for Easter (would be next year)?
Would really like US Rockies or maybe New England, and would prefer not so high altitude - probably not Colorado.
We've been spoiled for childcare by Esprit.
So would like somewhere with daycare (for 4 and 7 year old) as well as ski lessons.
We'd love not to have to cook but I realise that is probably an impossible dream.

Make sure you check if ski school and childcare is operating in Maine resorts during what they consider to be late season before you book. Don't take it for granted it is available.

We’ve been to Whistler quite a few times at Easter and always had an amazing time - quite a few comments earlier in their thread re Whistler. The ski school is amazing - we went when our youngest was 4 and he did the same time in lessons as his older siblings do no other childcare required. Lessons 8:30 until 3. Snow can be s but scare on the lower slopes at that time but there has always been plenty in the alpine.

We are off to Whistler this Easter. As I've put before, we loved it there last Xmas.

Vail also gets the thumbs up from my ski mad colleague, but after ALOT of research Whistler won.

Just to update, went to aspen last Christmas, worst snow for 25 years, there was more in Europe.Although pretty there is definitely more atmosphere in Europe but accommodation was much better there.
