Christmas skiing - Family Ski Company or EspiritSki

Myself, Hubby and two children (5&7) would like to go skiing over xmas and have narrowed the choices down to FSC in Ardent or Espirit in Gressony, Italy.

Love the vibe of a home-from-home environment with FSC but concerned about living with strangers for a week and whether there will be enough children for my kids to play/bond with

Espirit is well known for children care which I really like but the chalet hotel looks a little tired and food reviews are mixed (aren't they all!!)

Plus, I think Argent is more snowsure than Gressony.

Does anyone have any experience of these two companies, the resorts or travelling with either over xmas?

Thanks in advance

We are looking to do something similar this Christmas. Haven't been with either company so hopefully someone can give some advice about this.
I liked the idea of esprit at Les Gets at Christmas but worried about snow. We've been to PDS a few times in march and has been very slushy/muddy and I remember a couple of Years ago there was no snow at Christmas. Isn't Ardent PDS too?

I believe Ardent is in PDS but I understand this if there isn't snow in the hamlet itself, you just go up the bubble lift and should be fine. We went to meribel last year and they didn't have real snow - was all artificial but really well done!
I think that's the challenge with xmas skiing - can never guarantee snow! And prob hence the lower prices
We went ahead and booked with FSC in the end. Given its xmas, we preferred the home from home set up - even though I know Esprit childcare is supposedly very good.

Do your kids mind being split up in the child care? That's one of the reasons we went for Esprit over FSC (mine are 6 and 8) - the groups split at 7. Mine would care, that might be a selling point for yours!

mine should be OK - oldest loved skiing last year so wont mind doing more, whereas youngest was less keen. We have gone ahead and booked with FSC now so locked in.

I figure if they really want to be together, the childcare should be able to accommodate it, even if my oldest moves down a year. that's the hope at least!
