baby - keeping warm

Hello. Taking 3 children skiing for the first time in a few weeks. Youngest will be just 1. I have a snow suit for him, managed to get a POP one second hand that was a bargain. Probably taking citimini pushchair. Any recommendations for pushchair footmuffs? I've seen a very snazzy warm looking one from Voksi but expensive. Could justify it as we've not got much for his birthday but just wondering what others have done with this age child?
Also any bootie recommendations? He's not walking yet so don't need proper ones. Tempted with the Stonz. Any one used these?

Should add - he'll be in childcare but we'll look to do bits in the afternoon and try to include him - hence thinking about using the pushchair / footmuff then.
Obviously I have hat and gloves for him!

We just took blankets, but couldn't use the buggy as the snow was too deep so lugged DD on a sledge. Is the resort likely to be snowy. I realise that's a weather question, but some are more likely to be white than others.

Hmmm, not sure. First time there - Puy St Vincent. I may contact the travel company as they're very good and ask how likely we are to be able to use the buggy in resort - good question!

Highly unlikely you'll be able to use a bug around resort unless it's an all terrain one. Even without snow there's random bits of ice and I even pavements. You can hire snow buggies in most resorts. If it is warm enough to have no snow then you don't really need to worry about expensive foot muffs.

Best thing is to layer little ones up. You can then regulate their temperature easily. At that age I'd go with a light top and leggings, thin jumper, trousers, and a thicker jumper. If it's really cold you can add another fleece or wind proof fleece as well. If he's not walking then wear normal socks, thick ski socks and some booties.
