If you plan to leave him in a daycare/nursery/snow club then they may insist on him being dry.

I'd see nearer the time alot of progress can be made in 4 weeks.

he will be in a creche/snowgarden for 2.5 hours in the mornings only. How can they insist children are dry, when even a 5/6 yr old can have the odd accident.

personally I might as it could be hard for him. is it an english creche? he may find it hard to tell them what he wants too.

what I meant was, they usually stipulate no nappies and fear a pull-up would count as such. They would probably deal with odd accidents more readily - usually the kids strip down to thermal leggings/tracksuit bottoms indoors so you could always leave spares. For the 2 1/2 hours I'd make sure he goes on arrival and ask them to remind him at snack time.

When my dd was 3 she had an accident with Esprit spritelets. She was on a cable car and needed to go!
Normally she was ok but I think sometimes the rangers aren't very good at asking the kids.
They are definetly used to this happening though so don't worry about it. Just take plenty of pants and trousers. Esprit had a spare skisuit that they lent dd the rest of that day. I found a launderette that evening for her stuff.
Just emphasise toteh childcare staff that they need to ask your child/put him on the loo at frequent intervals.

ahh thanks tenby girl that's making sense now. we are just afraid, that we have been PT since nov last, still having accidents, and by putting him in PU we might go backwards. (wanted to say more damage than good, but afraid i might get jumped on by MN for wrong terminology)
