Any Scottish (Cairngorm) skiers around?

Are you getting excited? Any one headed out onto the slopes yet? We are going on Monday (weather permitting), I can't wait!

We went to the Nevis range, only able to ski one day out of four due to the gondola being closed.

Had a nice time though. Lots of healthy walking!

That's a shame. I do wish this wind would go away! On the plus side it has been snowing loads :)

I think I read that Glencoe said they'd had more than 50cm of new snow. I'm clearing my diary for next week in the hope of getting another day at Glenshee. If this wind ever drops that is....!

Loads of fresh snow Tomorrow is looking good. We are off to the Lecht. Wednesday next week looks ok too, but we know only too well how things can change!

Brilliant day at the Lecht. 4 year old ds even made me take him up the chairlift!

Anybody been up recently?

We went up after school on Friday (they finish at lunch) and it was a fantastic afternoon. Lovely and sunny and warm, and no queues.

Going again tomorrow, yipee!

Beautiful up there at the moment, empty slopes and decent snow still.

It certainly is (or was earlier this week!) We were up wednesday too :)

Cairngorm still open (top bowls) and if enough demand, might open next weekend. Was up on Friday, didn't queue once and the snow was amazing.
