Anyone else just arrived in French resort with just a few runs open? Where in France or Italy is there snow at the moment as we might now need to drive to another resort.

Can you imagine how frustrating it must be to those who've had a week with hardly any snow for skiing, to be stuck in a blizzard on the way home?

clam indeed!
I am driving out next week, and grateful that snow has fallen, but feeling so sorry for those who left yesterday Sad

I always think that Chambery landings are one of the more exciting ones. Seems they have to come in quite high over the mountains, drop fast amd its not a long runway. I try and avoid it and go to geneva now.

I avoid airports...Grin
Feeling very sorry for people who were relying on Tour Operators to get them to and from airports yesterday and today - according to the comments on FB some families with small DC were off-loaded from stuck coaches into a hospital and gymnasium for emergency accommodation and are still there now- about to spend a second night - seemingly Crystal have forgotten they are there...Sad

The transfers are always the part that I dread the most - you really are at the mercy of the company doing the driving.

We're not going for a couple of weeks. Hope the temperatures stay low now.
