Recommendations for ankle/calf lenth pull on snow boots

I'm tired of wobbling about on one foot in the ski chalet entrance, trying to get my lace up walking boots on without getting my socks wet. I'd like some pull-on (i.e. not lace up) snow boots. Anyone got any recommendations? And if they look stylish/nice that would be a bonus [smile[.

How much are you prepared to spend ? Snow and Rock basic black ones do the trick

merrell yarra?

snowgirl1 · 09/12/2013 21:52

Thank you both. The Snow & Rock ones are probably a bit more functional looking than I'd really like. The Merrell Yara ones look nice - I was hoping to spend less than £100...but then it is Christmas, so I could be tempted.

Merrell have a few 'lifestyle boots' that may fit your criteria. I have had some for 3 years (this is their fourth winter). They are warm, grippy, waterproof, stylish (imo), i would never be without a pair of merrell boots again!

I have these:

They look lovely (get loads of compliments), easy to pull on and off, are super warm and a bargainous.

I will admit to cutting the Hi Tech tags off though. :)

Oh, these are the kids ones, but the adult ones are identical.

Tog 24 have some great Hi Tec news in their sale at the movement. Pull on and very warm and dry. Cost about £45. Other colours are on Amazon.

snowgirl1 · 11/12/2013 22:15

Thanks slalomsuki and daisyfitz aren't the hi-tec ones lace up? Or can you just pull the laces and push a toggle down??

They just pull on and off. No tying or toggles. The laces are just for decoration really. I got mine from Tog 24 a couple of years ago - maybe three. Use them every winter.

slalomsuki · 12/12/2013 16:56

Toggles and laces are for decoration only. Very comfortable and warm. Have done three ski seasons and our winter to date.
