Hello,
We are holidaying in Belle Plagne on the 29th Jan this year.
I have 2 kids - one is 4 (girly) and going to do morning club piou piou ski school (she loved it last year) and I have a very very nearly 2, 1 year old.
Has any one been? Any recommendations? Any one going to La Plagne at the same time, we could meet up and get the kids sledging together??
Thanks me loverlies!

Hi we have been twice and love it. Would like to go back again this season but can't find a good enough deal :(. So looks like we are heading on an Esprit cheapy elsewhere.

My DCs are a little older than yours but they really liked the skiing there. If you go to Bellecote you will find a little green run area with magic carpets. It is used by the ski schools but it is also open for public use. DS2 spent several happy afternoons traipsing up and down :)

Not sure about swimming pool as there was one in our hotel so didn't investigate.

There are some good sledging areas near the ski school meeting point in Belle Plagne.

There is a lovely mountain restaurant which is quite chic but very child friendly. Inside there are bears and teddy bears left in places for the children to spot :). Take the Arpette lift from Bellecote and ski down as tho skiing back to belle plagne - it is about half way down the main piste.

In Belle Plagne centre, try the Matafan restaurant. Eat inside if you can - it's lovely rustic French alpine style - much more atmospheric than some of the others. Face du Nordic is also good but not much room inside so mostly outside seating.

I found most of surrounding areas to be great for skiing but not particularly attractive. Most of the mountain restaurants are good - I certainly didn't find myself shuddering at hygiene issues and walking out!

Sorry that should read Face du Nord not Nordic.

We're just back from La Plagne - without kids though (anniversary treat - we left them with my parents!).
There hasn't been much fresh snow for a couple of weeks so assuming you have some ski time while kids in school/creche, I strongly recommend heading right up to the glacier (bubble lift from Bellecote & then another bubble) for the nicest snow and the emptiest pistes. Enjoy!
