Anyone going skiing over Xmas or the new year week ?

Just wondered where and for how long. Good to share ski fanatic chat. . . . .!!

You might recognise it if the builders are not finished by then...from the rubble and the family of 6 camped outside in the snow....we are on the LHS on the way into the village last hairpin before the church...directly opposite www.chaletlamaitrya ...if you know the village...please pop in and say hello...my lot are 12, 10, 9 and 4

Hi SSoL...summer is brilliant - that was the first time we went (Aug 2009)...we have travelled extensively with and without children and this was our best experience to date ...there is so much to do...hiking, riding, white water rafting, canoeing, swimming in lakes, high wiring, biking, toboganning...and even ice skating...and it is hot...or you can take it easy in the great little mountian restaurants in little hamlets really friendly with goats and chickens running around!... have been back 4 more times in the past year....mostly drive down...skied last January -- it was great have did you see this sats Daily Mail

...another thought - the village nursery is v highly regarded (look on the official vaujany village tourist board website for details) think Ski Peak say that their full time staff use it -- so you might want to check it out and escape for a morning or afternoons skiing!!
