Well hopefully the title says it all. There's been a suggestion, and we agree, that as we did with Baby P and the Mc Canns we just have one thread where anyone who feels they still have anything to add on this subject can post and those who'd rather move on can hide it away.

It feels strange to put this thread in site stuff as we are definitely not wanting to encourage further discussion of Moldies (we have presents to wrap too you know ) but we weren't sure where else to put it.

We will delete any new Moldies threads that are started, so please feel free to report them in case we miss any (what with wrapping the presents and all...)

And if you do want to carry on the discussion please remember that Mumsnet's here to make everyone's lives easier and not the reverse, and that Christmas is a time of goodwill to all mumsnetters past, present and future

Thanks,
MNHQ

no it isnt at all, which made it more amusing as he was a fairly muscular looking soldier, and he tried so hard not to sound like a girl when he ordered it, it made it funnier worse

The Placenta Forward.....?

By way of explanation as to why other Moldies thread: Mumsnet Moldies Row to be in papers tomorrow, has been deleted

By JustinExcelsisMumsnet on Sun 28-Dec-08 20:40:12

Can we just say that none of us - unless we are blood relatives probably - really know that anyone is who they say they are. But we have absolutely no reason to suspect the Rev's credentials - she has been around an awful long time on MN so it would be an extraordinary deception and quite unlike any other we've come across. In our view extremely unlikely.

We would say that this kind of casting of Nasturtiums is unhelpful and paranoia-inducing all round. If you have concerns about a poster we urge to contact us and we will look into behind the scenes it as soon as and as best we can. Public raising of suspicion can mean that wholly innocent people get "fingered" which is something none of us wish to see, I'd guess.

Ok we're going to delete this thread in a bit sadly because there comes a time when so much of a thread contains personal attacks we might as well delete it.

The only reason we left it standing (we've agreed on one Moldies thread) was because by the time we got to it this morn it had a few hundred posts on it. Apologies to all those who've posted on it in good faith - sorry to blow your thoughts into the ether, as it were.

EffiePerine · 28/12/2008 21:00

cat: sugar in the black coffee - tsp

then float cream off spoon

catinthehat1 · 28/12/2008 21:00

Look I want answers.

morningpaper · 28/12/2008 21:01

Instead of a Black Russian, I could have a Black Deripaska

would be too obscure?

WalkinginWaynettaWonderland · 28/12/2008 21:01

I'll have one of these please......

catinthehat1 · 28/12/2008 21:01

sorry Effie I sounded a bit needy then!
Is just a tsp enough?

EffiePerine · 28/12/2008 21:02

runny cream

Black coffee is poured into the mug;
Whiskey and at least one level teaspoon of sugar is stirred in until fully dissolved. The sugar is essential for floating liquid cream on top.
Thick cream is carefully poured over the back of a spoon initially held just above the surface of the coffee and gradually raised a little. The layer of cream will float on the coffee without mixing. The coffee is drunk through the layer of cream.
