Well hopefully the title says it all. There's been a suggestion, and we agree, that as we did with Baby P and the Mc Canns we just have one thread where anyone who feels they still have anything to add on this subject can post and those who'd rather move on can hide it away.

It feels strange to put this thread in site stuff as we are definitely not wanting to encourage further discussion of Moldies (we have presents to wrap too you know ) but we weren't sure where else to put it.

We will delete any new Moldies threads that are started, so please feel free to report them in case we miss any (what with wrapping the presents and all...)

And if you do want to carry on the discussion please remember that Mumsnet's here to make everyone's lives easier and not the reverse, and that Christmas is a time of goodwill to all mumsnetters past, present and future

Dior it is not your fault at all - it is the idiot that wrote the article and got it all so wrong.

Someone on the other thread found the journlist's listing on a website - maybe it would be possible to email her, explain your situation and ask her to get the paper to print a clarification?

tbh I think they must be even more thick than their crap "article" indicates if they "misread" the names, I've just done a search for the quote that was attributed to you and you're posting name is nowhere NEAR Diors comment.

I wouldn't be surprised if the journalist was lurking. Hopefully they will do what is right.

For every journalist who is a poster on here and open about it, you've probably got ten more who don't post and just lurk in the hope of finding something to turn into an "article". Does Hannah Godfrey honestly sound like a parent to you?

I think the article is so sloppy and rubbish that the writer clearly knows nothing about the subject and is not familiar with either forum. I think you are ascribing too much brainpower to her, BGDU . It's the stupidest thing about MN I have ever read.

I agree with Marina - I don't think the journo knows MN at all.
