that's it really. I don't have time to post much anymore and the round ups really remind me why I love the humour on mumsnet.

I'm never on them

Lol at Slubber I normally find MP sandwiched between the solution to my flaccid micro pecker problems and some bloke called Mbira who wants to share the estate of some late lamented Nigerian prince with me, if I will just give him all of my bank details and passport number.

mosschops30 · 05/09/2008 20:16

how do you get them?

Slubberdegullion · 05/09/2008 20:22

I think it's the good, the bad and the ugly bit that makes my puter think 'ey up, this is someone trying to improve my owners girth' and shifts it into spam. It must have a nap now again and that's how the round up slips in with my proper e-mails.

[no concept of how technology works]

my puter also has a lancashire accent btw

StealthPolarBear · 05/09/2008 20:28

can't believe no-one's ever told me about the newsletters link!
i live for fridays and that email

My computer has a Greek accent and a speech impediment, which is why I can't understand the fecking thing most of the time.

Slubberdegullion · 05/09/2008 20:34

I never get the nigerian prince ones. I only have improve your penis and some dodgy pharmacy ones from canada, and the round up. Why is this do you suppose?

WendyWeber · 05/09/2008 20:46

She put herself in this week, is that allowed?

DonDons · 05/09/2008 20:50

she talked about herself in the third person too tres posh. like the queen.

WendyWeber · 05/09/2008 20:51

Like that next time, please, mp

DoNotAnnoy · 05/09/2008 20:55

I wondered that Wendy.

Not only did she put herself but she planted a thread for the purpose .

Those that haven't got it - are you on AOL by any chance? I think recognise some of you as AOL'ers. I haven't been getting them recently either. I check them on the link above.

There are known problems with AOl and MNemails. Old TECH was very good at keeping on top of them. I don't think BigTech has managed to get undercover at AOL yet to solve the problems. Maybe it is because he is too big. Maybe you should sen YetMoreTech in or even NikitaTech (she sounds small...is she still around?)

MimsieNet · 05/09/2008 20:57

I only seem to be be funny on threads MP doesn't read...

MrsWeasley · 05/09/2008 21:02

WW: of course she is allowed to put herself in it, its hers she can do what she likes.

policywonk · 05/09/2008 21:03

This week's was particularly funny.

morningpaper · 05/09/2008 21:06

Poor Kerrymum, you actually made my first draft this week but it was mashed up by my team of crack heads editors and you failed to make the final cut

Have noted use of "one" and will utilise that in future

morningpaper · 05/09/2008 21:08

Ooh I met NikitaTech, she is the size of a mouse and lives in a matchbox

She had a packet of biscuits on her desk which BigTech kept stealing which explains a lot

StealthPolarBear · 05/09/2008 21:15

no, on hotmail, got the roundup last week, just not today

TrinityRhino · 05/09/2008 21:23

I've neeeeever been in it
I love it

but I'm not funny

morningpaper · 05/09/2008 21:27

when you huffed "Where are the scientists?" and Lapin said "Oh an escape pod to Jupiter hahahaha!" or something which i thought was HILARIOUS

VeniVidiVickiQV · 05/09/2008 21:28

It's been a while since i've been in the roundup.

MP, can you please search out all of my posts for next week? You clearly arent looking at my posts which are always eloquent, witty and brilliant.

Thank you.

PussinJimmyChoos · 05/09/2008 21:30

I consider being in the round up a sign that you have 'arrived' on Mumsnet....but, even though I have been posting for well over a year, I still haven't made it!

I will resort to sending MP cheques if she CATs me her sortcode and acc no...

mehgalegs · 05/09/2008 21:31

I was in it once but I had namechanged so nobody knew it was me .

KerryMum, you were in it when you started a thread about never being in the roundup I seem to remember

StealthPolarBear · 05/09/2008 21:31

VVVQV why do you think the chicken crossed the road?
(There you go, a nice opener for one of your witticisms)
