Quick! We need your advice on how to deal with the embarrassing things children say for Radio 5 Live

We've been asked to give advice on what to do when your child utters something mortifying in earshot of other people. Do you shriek and run away or laugh it off? Any anecdotes would also be greatly appreciated

So when are (were) you on Radio 5?

DS in M&S underwear section on Tuesday ended up dancing around with a G cup bra on his head holding up a pair of size 22 beige granny pants asking me, very loudly, if I needed ones like this to cover my noonoo!!!

I smiled sweetly and said no but we could get them for grandma for her birthday - DS looked puzled and the lady behind the till nearly wet herself.

Only enter buses armed with enough cheesy wotsits to last the entire journey.

Otherwise known as the if-they're-eating- they-can't-say-embarrassing-things theory.

I'm on the line waiting to be put through to the studio now

It was fairly short mmj - finished about 20 past 11 I think.

Not so much a comment, but equally mortifying-
You know those tacky aprons with fake boobs that they sell in tack shops on holiday?

We found DS1 (aged about 4) sucking on a boob in one of these shops, commenting to our friends boy "Mmm Milk...."
