A new button appears on the pokémon while your lure is active - other nearby players can use the lure, but they CANNOT evolve their pokémon - to do so they must put their own lures on

So do you need to put a certain lure on to be able to evolve certain Pokemon? And do we know which lure is for which Pokemon?

I guess, if you plan ahead, you only need to spend 600 coins on lures - just need to make sure you have all the right Pokemon ready to evolve in one go. Tempted to hold off and see if they end up in boxes, at least for DS2's account.

The lures will be available via special research in the coming weeks if you don’t want to spend coins.
