@MNHQ

It’s time for you to decide who you stand for, there are millions of posters who use your website everyday, women who have found support on here, women who have found the help they needed through pregnancy and birth; infertility struggles; fighting cancer; leaving a violent relationship; dealing with their own disabilities; dealing with children’s disabilities; dealing with loved ones going on deployment; finding the confidence to return to work, or to retrain; finding the confidence to make friends; and so much more.

Women have used this site to support each other, to make friends, to share their grief and pain, and sometimes just to share a joke or have a chat. There are thousands of forums on the net but this one, mumsnet, was accessible to women primarily because it was mainly women posting.

So who do you stand for @MNHQ? your users? or a group of people who actively despise your users, and your site?

I'm puzzled that Clarice hasn't identified the legislation she's talking about.

My point was speaking directly to those trolling.

Bibesia · 07/07/2018 09:45

Clarice, you've said unequivocally that legislation has been pushed through. I'm interested to know what that legislation is. Can you tell me?

Look into the history of how the ECHR came up with its directives. Then look how a small group of self-interested individuals took legal action to force the then government to comply, with a couple of additions not in the ECHR ruling.

The irony. At the ECHR they imagined all transsexuals were males who removed their penises but, of course, didn't consider female transsexuals.

So without an impact assessment upon women, the additions to the ECHR rulings in the UK were that males can keep their dongs.

Bibesia · 07/07/2018 10:22

So should we take it that in fact the legislation you referred to doesn't exist?

WhereDoWeBeginToCovetClarice · 07/07/2018 10:49

Ha ha ha - if you are not the trolls I am speaking to, then the message is not for you. I'll do a quick advanced search on you though.

I just see. You are not on of the trolls. Look into the history of the GRA 2004. You'll find a cleaned up version online but there is still admission it was the result of legal action, not grassroots activism or support. The first person to get a GRA in this country is also an IT wizz who helped draft the legislation.

Bibesia · 07/07/2018 13:12

But that Act doesn't do what you said in your post on Thursday, Clarice?

WhereDoWeBeginToCovetClarice · 07/07/2018 14:01

Which bit?
