Can we have a way to block seeing posts from specific members? And to block them from seeing ours?

Hope that's clear. They may be a good reason why we can't do that. If it's possible though, I would appreciate it. There are people who I would like to not see anything from but who aren't screaming and shouting abuse so don't particularly go against guidelines etc.

This has been requested lots of times before but I think it's a no go. I'd like it but the general consensus seems to be that it would make the threads too confusing.

There are a couple of posters that annoy me a lot 😭😭. They are mean they just brag and brag and brag. I know more about their kids achievements than my own and unfortunately they hang out in topics I like. - I'd love to block them. (That might be petty though 😬)

There's one particular poster on an Alfie Evans thread that I would love to block but can't. Even if I could mute them that would be be fab. I just feel like it's a weird thing not to offer, although I understand about the threads not making sense I guess. Would work the same way as blocking someone on twitter I think.

I'd also accept an option to report a poster for being persistently goady - theres at least one that when you see the name you know before reading their comment will say something like "you should all grow up FFS" or "you sound awful, you should stop leaving the house".

We agree this would be welcome at times so we'll certainly pass the request on but something tells us this may not be something which will work well in practice as we do like to keep the conversation flowing even if we don't always agree with some of the posts

I'm rather interested in this too as I now feel unsafe to post on topics where I have sought solace and support over the last several years. I have reported users and posts but have no idea when my bullies will deem that I can return to seek support during what is a really difficult time in my life.

The bullies have won - I no longer feel like I can contribute to the conversation or give advice (which I consider to be mostly factual in nature anyway).
