I'll let you know what they say re: provision of REAL sizes!

OP posts:
katzguk · 16/06/2004 14:38

just as a point of interest are the sizes british or american?

tech2 · 16/06/2004 14:38

British

Oh!
SO if you're a 16 or over then you can only get the "Beefy" T-shirt.

tech2 · 16/06/2004 14:43

I think the "beefy" is the Hanes brand name because the cotton is heavyweight - not a reference to the size of the wearer!

CountessDracula · 16/06/2004 14:48

I hate baggy tshirts they make us porkers look even porkier.

Kayleigh · 16/06/2004 15:08

And why can't you wear a thong if you're a size 16. Only "Big Pants"

Talk about sizist.

tech2 · 16/06/2004 15:11

I have had a reply from makemymegastore - they are going to contact their suppliers to see if larger fitted styles are available. Will keep you posted.

sorry, missed the joke - was being a bit dense but hadn't actually seen site. Just your size chart.

Come out spacemonkey. We're not having a go at you.

Am off to buy my badge OO.

prettycandles · 16/06/2004 15:20

'we moaned to get a shop'? Rubbish! It was hardly moaning, but a suggestion to Mumsnet on how to get free advertising! Not just free, but paid-for as well. Mumsnet ought to give the originators of that thread an extra discount!

oliveoil · 16/06/2004 15:22

I was being sarky prettycandles, will be off now, my humour is obv not required .

spacemonkey · 16/06/2004 15:30

Me too, OO !

nikcola · 17/06/2004 14:17

hey the beefy tshirt looks fitted on me so no one will no the diffrence i got mine this morning

slug · 18/06/2004 11:55

Sorry to come over all Trinny and Suzannah here but....If you are of the larger chested species, a round neck is a big no no. Makes it look as if you have some great big shelf of flesh hanging under your chin. Sorry I can't wear the beefy T, the only one in my size, I need something that draws the eye down. A cleavage is my only wommanly asset you know!

NomDePlume · 18/06/2004 12:04

I've ordered a round neck fitted t and Im a 32E, so the jury is out on the tit-shelf thing, slug. Although generally I agree with you, something with a deep v-neck is always more flattering on me.
