Behaviour Topic: Could this be split into different age ranges?

Having problems with dd's behaviour and trawling through topic titles hunting out "4 years old". It would be so much easier if the topic could be broken down into sub-threads e.g aged 1,2,3,4,5/6,7/8 etc.

Anyone else think this is a good idea?

I have a four year old..whats the problem?
and yes it probably would be easier. Also if sold stuff could be emoved off the for sale threads!

Yes, I do actually think it's a good idea. I haven't used the topic for a while. But it could be split into reasonable chunks.

Shouting constantly, not listening, having to be told countless times to do or not do something and then still disobeying. Ignoring teachers at school who said that the "rules don't appear to apply to R". DH thinks we aren't tough enough. I think we are very firm - have reward charts, punishments e.g. no TV or bedtime story when she continues to misbehave.

She is an intelligent and extremely articulate little girl but will just not do as she's told. Starting to cause rows between dh and I have started rowing about the right way to deal with her.

My advice ..fwiw!!!!
Try not to make an issue of all the naughty behavour. Pick something that is really important and focus on that. Praise loads for all the little things we take for granted.
If she is intelegant she may be really bored and its up to school to sort that. Ask Staff to be specific about the things she does.
Encourage dd to talk about school and what she has done, you may find there is a problem there which has made her behave this way.
Good Luck!!!
