Thanks for the reminder, Rachel!

suedonim · 14/06/2004 14:32

Just done mine, as well.

Thomcat · 14/06/2004 14:35

i've done mine too but changed the name that came up from rachels to mine and didn't write that it was a giuft to anyone, should I not have done that or will it automatically get forwarded onto the charity.

will also subscribe to Mumsnet again but might have tyo do that next month now tbh

Janh · 14/06/2004 15:42

I didn't change the email address, were we supposed to?????

Thomcat · 14/06/2004 15:45

No I DID change the email address from rachel to me and now not sure I should have done.

NomDePlume · 14/06/2004 16:01

I've just made my donation. I changed the email on the credit card payment section so that I'd get the confirmation of payment and not rachel, but I kept the email on the MN page as Rachel@ etc etc. Hope that's right. Will do my subs too over the next few days, once the girls are back to using the subs for MN.

suedonim · 14/06/2004 18:39

I changed the email addie to my own, too, and I've received notification from them. I'm confused now!

Rachel (mumsnet) · 14/06/2004 20:18

Hi there

So sorry to have caused this confusion. When I put up the link I didn't expect it to give you my email address - just thought it was a generic subscription page.(I'm sure we confessed before that without tech we don't amount to much when it comes to pc competence!) I'm in the process of tracking down tech and will amend as soon as I've spoken to him. Please let me assure those who have already subscribed, that there will not be a problem (we'll be able to trace back to who donated) but probably best for the rest of you to avoid my link and subscribe by using the 'subscribe to mumsnet' link at the top of the home page for the time being.

Rachel

Rachel (mumsnet) · 14/06/2004 21:19

Subscribe here . Use this link rather than previous one. Thanks for your patience!

Rachel

Justine (mumsnet) · 16/06/2004 23:26

Hi All,
We raised £90 in subs on Monday and Tuesday which we'll split between the two charities and send off soonest. Well done Gingerbear for the suggestion and to all you generous folk who chipped in.
Justine, Carrie and Rachel

NomDePlume · 17/06/2004 14:03

Excellent !

So I can go back on now and do my normal MN subs ?

Justine (mumsnet) · 17/06/2004 14:36

You most certainly can, NomDePlume - thanks. And thanks for raising the issue .

NomDePlume · 17/06/2004 14:39

LOL, on my way

Justine (mumsnet) · 28/06/2004 11:20

Just thought I'd let you know that we sent two £45 cheques off today to Cancer Care South Lakes and BBC Children in Need - Michelle's chosen charities. Well done to all for your generosity.
Best,
Justine, Carrie and Rachel

codswallop · 28/06/2004 11:25

no prob
did you tell lakeland hq we raised it?

Justine (mumsnet) · 28/06/2004 11:35

Not directly but have been liasing with her former PA, who works there so assume it has been passed on.

suedonim · 28/06/2004 15:28

Thanks, Justine. There was a lovely acknowledgment notice in the Torygraph from Michelle's dh, about a week ago.

codswallop · 28/06/2004 15:42

OOh link please

Marina · 28/06/2004 20:42

It was in the obits Coddy so not sure if it's linkable. I saw it too, Suedonim, it really was a delightful, warm tribute to her, wasn't it? Made me all the more convinced she was the sort of soul who'd have loved your affectionate hommage

suedonim · 28/06/2004 23:01

I don't think you can link to the DT announcments, Coddy, and it was a bit too long to type out, sorry.

I agree, Marina, it was a very apt tribute to Michelle. All very sad, though.
