Or at the very least charge a nominal amount. It is threads like THIS that makes me feel this way. MN IS NOT A FREE VERSION OF EBAY!!!!!!

Kidstrack - Don't panic, it wasn't you. It wasn't clothes. What a mess up with the post you had. I am giving the benefit of the doubt because I know that the Royal Mail can be less than reliable. It was just a shame my emails were ignored too.
There are some good suggestions on here, though I don't know what the answer is.....

Kidstrack · 13/11/2006 18:36

thank goodness for that Skyler, you had me worried there, i have checked archives and the mn no longer posts so i presume she recieved the clothes as i had a return address on them and they never came back for a second time, i did put a note in with the second parcel too!

SMM its contact another talker, you basically type in the Mumsnetter you wish to get in contact with and MN forwards your message to them, to set up CAT you need to pay a one off fee of £5 i beleive

have left message on that one fimbo

I agree I dont like those threads, but regular normal mners selling old baby stuff/clothes etc i think is fine.

fine line though

FIMBO · 16/11/2006 13:58

I have reported it to HQ JARM. I do agree it is a fine line, I have no problems with regulars at all but it is these people who dodge trying to pay for a proper advert that get me.

The person Fimbo was linking to emailed MNHQ to apologise and ask for her thread to be removed - keep comments coming, think For Sale will be up for overhaul in the New Year!

I've tried to sell a few surplus boys clothes on here - most are new & have never been worn (thanks to me 'putting them somewhere safe' & then forgetting about them !) I try & sell stuff for what I would pay & cover P&P but with little success. I don't want to go to the hassle of EBaying stuff. So I give it a go on here first & then chariry bag it.
I think Bying & Selling though is useful - you can always look at the convos without buying & selling anyway.
