So, how many new members have we had since the ST article?

I've seen lots of new nicknames, but presumably Tech or someone knows how many new members there are? I guess not all will be ST-related, but presumably there will have been a blip over the last couple of weeks.

I adore it, means I can work when I want and no BOS

marthamoo · 19/04/2004 16:11

I'll have to think of something I can do first though Glad you like it!

Sounds good, CD. I am envious.

CountessDracula · 19/04/2004 16:26

what do you usually do marthamoo?

muddaofsuburbia · 19/04/2004 16:27

For a minute Countess I thought you meant Gina Ford - I pictured her barring your door with a big stick!!

Hope you feel better soon - I had 5/6 years ago now - miserable as sin really

tamum · 19/04/2004 16:30

Oh, I thought exactly the same! I was wondering if your naps didn't fit around the clients' meetings....

CountessDracula · 19/04/2004 16:31

Oh god I wish - would welcome Gina with open arms if it meant getting rid of glandular fever!

CountessDracula · 19/04/2004 16:31

CountessDracula · 19/04/2004 16:48

gemilou I'm afraid that's one of the bad things about mumsnet! Welcome!

gemilou · 19/04/2004 16:49

Thankyou countess, I fear my children are being neglected

CountessDracula · 19/04/2004 16:50

Oh they will be, believe me...
Your house will go to pot
You will live on ready meals
Piles of dirty washing will overflow your basket

Lisa78 · 19/04/2004 16:51

but gemilou, how can they be neglected? You are only on mn to get info for their benefit, aren't you? Just like the rest of us

Lisa78 · 19/04/2004 16:51

CD is a domestic slut

CountessDracula · 19/04/2004 16:51

Absolutely. I figure that anyone who spends ages on a parenting site each day HAS to be a good parent

CountessDracula · 19/04/2004 16:52

Ahh Lisa how right you are - but my cleaner luckily is not, so I survive somehow

Jeeling · 19/04/2004 16:54

Hello - New too. Thanks for the acronymn list. Will try and work out what you are all saying!

CountessDracula · 19/04/2004 16:55

Hi Jeeling - welcome to mumsnet.

gemilou · 19/04/2004 16:56

Thats it then, I am officialy a better parent thanks to mn... Ill be sure to tell dh when he gets in. Not sure he'll believe me though

Jeeling · 19/04/2004 16:58

Feeling very proud of myself today. Spent the WHOLE day cleaning the house and doing the washing. No it wasn't extremely dirty just took longer because of entertaining ds. No longer have a cleaner since I gave up work. Mind you, no great loss as used to clear up after her too!
