Its the title. its the I in it. That makes people attack the author not discuss the issue.

The problem with aibu is that it's inhabited by people who think that tantruming is a verb. IT'S NOT EVEN A REAL WORD!

It'll also be in the subjunctive and a bit hypothetical -- maybe adding a bit more distancing and taking out a bit of the heat?

Actually, I reckon the problem is that people go there to be slightly hyper-emotional: outraged! appalled! shocked!! etc.: all those exclamation-mark emotions.

I was drawn by one that seemed to promise that someone was thinking of decapitating their neighbour or something. I'm kind of appalled that I clicked on it but at the same time, the realisation that I am as AIBU-ish as the next person keeps me grounded.

I think you're right - make it more objective and people might be a bit more objective. Possibly. On the other hand the thick hystericals need somewhere to post and at least they're corralled in AIBU.
