Look I've been around longer than the and have yet to see evidence of this fabled hatted bear. Surely if it existed there will be a thread banging about somewhere. nooooo - Tech are working on the site crashes, nothing to do with emoticons.

We will ask Tech about the and his hat, but he is certainly not on our list wearing owt but his birthday suit - a bare bear.

I smell a conspiracy! I've had a good old nosy through a couple of old threads and in amongst the full plethora of festive faces, bears and bog standard faces there are 3 emoticons that just come up as a ? in a box, or image missing icon (I've check on laptop and phone). And a few days later on one of the threads I myself had typed [fbear] as if I was fully expecting a christmas hatted bear to appear again!!!

That bear DID have a hat for a week didn't he? And MNHQ took it away, pulled out their Men in Black-esque mind zapper thing and tried to erase our collective memories of it.
