Hello

DH and I are looking at actually buying as opposed to renting / leasing a company car.

What are the key things to look out for?

And how small can we go with 1 baby, 2 cats and thoughts of more dear offspring in the future?

eg

Is Golf's boot big enough for buggy?
Are there some baby focussed car sites?
Is DH crazy to want to buy a toy - i.e. finally get a car he really wants on the fab factor?

Thank you all!

Depend what type of holidays you go on would like to go on? Go and have a look at the type of pushchair you would like need is it going to go in the boot a lot will you be driving it in the week or will you be walking. Then you will have more idea. I like the way the britax Bmove four folds it can go very flat (you take the wheels off which is useful when you pack the car for holidays it is also fab to push. I had a clio when I was a nanny I use to fit 4 children it it and a pushchair not sure if I could have gone on holiday with it and two children without a roof box. I think you will fill the car what ever size you get. I went on holiday with a lady and her 3 babies it was a vw golf or polo not sure we had all the cloths in bin bag mosses baskets inside each other and a ski box (know pushchair) so it can work

Personally, the bigger the better. we had trouble fitting the pram in our old car and there's no way we'd have maanged with more than one child seat in the back.

But like castle says, consider what you'll use the car for.

Thank you

I think the biggest size constraint is driving/ parking in London

And I don't want a car that could easily topple over so "chelsea tractors' are out

The Golf sounds tight. We were thinking about a a Golf.

Hmmm
