If so is it any good - mixed reviews on Amazon, just thought I'd ask here. Does anyone have any other suggestions of anything similar that theyhave and can recommend. Hoping to order something tonight for delivery next week (probably start raining then!)

TIA

oh, dd2 played in a wig wam a few days ago, i think it was a TP one, i will see if i can find a picture.

look pretty but no good if it rains whislt your out and its still in the garden I have always got a cheapy (as in £10 or less) normal tent from one of the supermarkets and the kids have always loved playing in them just as much - even better as they can get loads of blankets /cushions etc in, all the toys, close the zip and pretend to do real camping

Best of all for me I can zip it all up and leave in graden if i go out, not having to worry - i have left it overnight when being v.lazy bt usually put down incase loacl wildlife pee on it

if you really want a tipi type look at Argos, they have a real one for less

it was this, more of a climbing frame than a wig wam but dd2 loved it.

We (ahem, DS) have this one. It's lovely - large enough for one of us to be in there with him. It has a fitted floor that you tie to the five posts, and the fabric's thick and good quality. Has Cath Kidston-stylee pictures of cowboys having cookouts, etc. It's very good quality and cost £80 in a shop. Can get it considerably cheaper (new) on ebay, but we didn't know that...

I would like to point out that I didn't get it from 'Shabby Chic Home and Gifts'!

Bugger - everywhere is sold out now!!! That'll teach for me waiting.

Reshape I just found the pink stripey one of those (for £58) will now see if I can get that one instead seeing as you reckon its good quality. Though am a bit worried that any boy friends will not join in when they come over - oh well I'm buying it for my DDs. Will bite the bullet!

Thanks all

How about these

Needanewname · 03/05/2010 10:29

Thanks again everyone, I went for the pink stripey one

Woman on the phone couldn;t have been more helpful, I called Thursday lunch time and it arrived Fri evening. We had friends over for tea (2 boys) and it being pink didn;t stp them from joining in. Good quality material (not like a sheet!) though not waterprrof and wouldn't leave out overnight, very easy to assemble all in all I would recommend.

Thanks again.
