Alternative to Le Creuset cookware

We eat alot of casserole type meals but I don't have a dish that can go on the hob and in the oven (and looks okay on the table).
Are Le Creuset dishes the best option? Am a bit at the prices!

Chasseur

Prices are a bit

But I have had mine for 15 years now (wedding presents) and they are good as new. There is nothing like them.

They are expensive, but of you get the cast iron option then you can also use it on the hob, in the oven or even use it to keep food chilled. And they last forever and LeCreuset will replace or fix if there is ever a problem.

I mean: but if you get.

Wish I'd had the foresight to put them on our wedding list 3 years ago. Will keep an eye out for the deals on the Chasseur ones, there's not actually that much difference in price between them and the Le Creuset ones really.

Have you tried IKEA - I bought a large cast iron casserole dish from there a couple of years ago and its just as good as LeCreuset and was only £30ish. I haven't been there recently but its worth a look.

Hardly ever go to Ikea but will ask a friend to keep an eye out for me, thanks

we have a black flamecasserole by emile henry which go's on the hob. i prefer it to le creuset we we also have as it's lighter and looks good too! still pricey but if it is going to get lots of use..

mummydarling like the look of those and more my price range if I don't have to factor in a visit to Ikea. Thanks
