Animal Crossing on Wii Qs changing time and more than one player

Hello,
I'm going to sound dim here coz I've never really played with it but here goes:

We got a Wii todayay and boy are my kids excited!

We have AnimalCrossing and DS1 set up the time as 5am instead of pm so he is in the middle of the night. How does he change the time?

Also is it possible for two people to play AC at the same time or have different chracters, so they don't mess up the stuff another person has done or is this really a game for one person to have?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

You've probably figured all this stuff out by now for yourself but the instructions for the game are very confusing so I thought I'd put up some answers to help anyone having similar problems who ends up here.

The time in the Wii game can be changed from the 'Other things' option in the menu when the game starts up. It goes with the time the Wii system is set to by default, so you might want to check that's correct as well in the options section accessible from the main Wii channel selection screen.

As for multiple players, each Wii can only have one Animal Crossing town on it. Up to 4 players can have their own character but they must live in the same town. The first person to play gets to name the town. Players must take turns to play if playing on the same console. If one player picks all the oranges then there'll be none for anyone else until they grow back, etc. They can send each other gifts and messages which is fun but they'll need to be able to share and cooperate or it's all going to end in tears!

(Up to 4 players can play online together, provided they each have a Wii, a copy of the game, internet access, a whole lot of swapped codes, synchronised watches, some patience and (possibly) a sprinkling of fairy dust. That's probably more trouble than it's worth...)

Hope that helps,

Edmund
