Anyone help?

Pre-school have had 'pre-Ofsted' visit and told to get alcohol-free handwash gel but not told where to get it from
No-one has found any yet so I'm turning it over to the Mumsnet detectives.
I thank you.

Saw this advertised the other day:
www.quashme.co.ukAnd Green People also make one though I can't actually find it on their website
www.greenpeople.co.uk/default.aspx

have to admit I'm a bit dubious - isn't it the alcohol that kills the germs?

How about soap and water? It's far more effective! I think it's cleanliness gone mad.

don't the lea have some sort of contract in place by now? why not just call another pre-school in the locale and ask who their supplier is? might get a discount too...

I wouldn't bother with it.

I work in a care home, and we have a couple of residents with MRSA.

I used to carry that stuff around with me. All it does it dry your hands and make them sore. I wouldn't put it near a child, unless it was really necessary.
If you find no alcohol, actual moisturising rub for hands, that doesn't lurk on the skin (lurking attracts germs), then do let me know.
The best thing is to wash them often. (I wear gloves too, as I'm a cleaner)

It's another marketing ploy, one that will have your hands turning into sandpaper.
Then you'll fall for the lovely handcream ones!

Wash with soap, you'll be fine.
