Hi, coddy! I have seen one of these recently but can't remember where, have you tried Homebase? (only I think that's the only shop I've been to recently that might have had one)

Janh · 20/06/2005 14:58

Found this one - doesn't tilt but does pack up small - very handy (you never know when you might need one!)

aloadoffishyballs · 20/06/2005 15:33

Janh · 20/06/2005 17:05

Um - I think that's a garden parasol, it's nearly 6' high - beach ones are usually shorter aren't they? (Mind you garden ones are usually higher...dunnooooooo)

Try ringing - this stuff has quite a short season and probably doesn't even get on the website.

Fio2 · 20/06/2005 17:07

what about towsure?

or one of those shops on the seafront? they have loads

Janh · 20/06/2005 17:07

Focus have a beach one and it is 1.8m high too. (But the Homebase one says water repellent, would you want that on the beach???)

Janh · 20/06/2005 17:08

Hello fio

Fio2 · 20/06/2005 17:11

hello jan, whilst someone is listening to me, how much do playschemes usually cost? my thread has died with no posts on it

Janh · 20/06/2005 17:14

Awww, sweetheart - have you bumped it much?

Um - it's how long is a piece of string for playschemes - depends who operates and how much they're subsidised (if at all) etc. Watford, for instance, has a fab one for about 2p a day (not really) and other councils charge much more. Where do you want one? Lovely Margate, where you live ?

Fio2 · 20/06/2005 17:21

I dont live in Margate Jan, i live in Hernia bay no the one we have been offered is in canterbury but its 8 pound a day and the one more local to me is 10 pound a day

Janh · 20/06/2005 18:54

ooops, sorry, I went away and ignored you there, fio!

Is this for DD or DS? I mean is it an ordinary one or a SN one?
