best nappy for night time

I think DD is ready now to go through from 7pm to morning without her top up feed that I currently give her before I go to bed. Trouble is, I'm not sure her nappy will be able to cope.
When i change her about 10 pm (she's had that nappy on since about 6.15pm) her nappy is well wet although not saturated but when I change her in the morning the nappy is very full.
I know it'll be a case of suck it and see but I wonder what nappies you guys have found to be the best for night time. I've checked the 'find the best' section on Mumsnet and it seems to point to Pampers Baby Dry which is what she's in anyway. Any other recommendations please?

8.97 for 93 size 4's

has anyone ever done a 'dream' nappy change? ie, change baby's nappy while they are still asleep to make sure they aren't woken because of a leaking nappy.
As you can tell, I'm a tad nervous about this for some reason. Daft I know cos worse case scenario is that DD will wake up early hours of the morning and I have to get up and change her. She's probably been ready milk-wise to drop her 10pm feed for over a week and I just cant bring myself to take the plunge.

George work for me as well.
But if you have the babydry anyway just give them a go and see.

You'll be surprised how much a nappy will hold. ds2 can sleep fourteen hours and you need a crane to remove it but it doesn't leak. That's Pampers Baby Dry but only because they are always on offer. Fingers crossed for me tonight - I've just put him in a big bed from his cot. He looks so tiny.

starlover · 15/06/2005 20:25

you could always change to cloth!

DS (18mths) sleeps 14 hours at night with pampers size 4 babydry and it doesn't leak he has 10oz of milk at bedtime. I do dream change his nappy if during the evening (7pm - 10pm) I go in to check on him and it is smelly (dirty) he sometimes stirs but I go it as quick as poss with as little light as poss and he just rolls back on his tummy and goes back to sleep.

pampers active fit works for me. 7pm to 7am - heavy but no leaks.

Stilltrue · 16/06/2005 17:20

I use Huggies superflex size 4 on ds3 age 17m. He is slim. they never leak; he drinks a full 8 0r 9 oz bottle of milk at bedtime around 7pm. He has recently begun to sleep through (most nights apart from the horrific 4.30 am starts to the day once or twice a week...) By morning his nappy is obviously full but not about to leak iykwim.

Tot's bots and a fleece wrap are an excellent combination for overnight
