Deoderants...............Do any of them actually work ??

Must have brought at least one a week in the past few weeks, but they don't seem to work.

Am a very clean person and hate to think i'm sweaty and stinky

I used anti-prespirants rather than deodorants in spring and summer.

they never work for me as it only last 5 mins on me but for the past couple of years been using roll on (heaven sent!) so i used the spray on for my body to smell nice

Oh have tried anti perpirants, roll ons etc etc but as soon as I get hot they fail.

Have blasted myself in body sprays today am getting paranoid.

Another vote for anti-perspirants here.

The simple roll on antiperspirant seems to work for both dh and me.

My dh is strange though - he has never worn deodorants or anti perspirants but he doesn't have sweaty armpits and never smells of BO. I've often wondered if he is really a lizard !

I became allergic to deoderant about 5 years ago and it started giving me eczema. I switched to 'PitRock' which is a natural salt stick. Now I was really sceptical, but I find it really does work. Having said that I am not a very sweaty person, so my problem is stopping odour and not wetness, might be different if the wetness is a problem. You canget other makes, and you can get them in some chemists and health food shops. They are expensive but last a very very long time.

Mitchum anti perspirant-deodarant roll-on claims to be so effective you can miss a day - and DH and I reckon its true

I have tried various ones (not all of course) and the only one I'm happy with is 'Sure' others seem to fail

You could also try Driclor, which you use in a different way, applying at night every day, and then reducing this to every 2-3 days. It's now available without presription.

Mitchum are great - especially the one that smells of baby powder. Easier to buy in public now too - the packaging used to be emblazoned with for problem perspiration - shudder.

Not sure if you can get pitrock in boots. There are other makes that are the same, but cant think of the names.

There's one called Triple Dry (Tesco sell). I use it on and off. I am fed up with wet armpits and have seriously thought about botoxing them!

I don't sweat, but I do find that since I had DS I pong very very quickly, any one else find this ??

It can take anything from an hour to half an hour out of the shower and if I don't spray, I stink

I find the only one that works and doesn't leave white marks over everything is Dove roll on.

Another vote for the mitchum baby powder one here, used to use it and it seemed to work.

Mitchum dry stick is 2 for £4.50 at Bodycare stores just now. It's about £3 each everywhere else. I've found since I had my DD I'm more sweaty & feel smelly even tho' friends & family tell me I'm not.
